* Re “Post Office Launches Cash Transfer Service to Mexico,” July 19: This is nothing new. Immigrants, legal or not, from all over the globe have been sending money “back home.”
Sure, the post office will make money with its new service, but don’t expect our rates to stabilize.
While it may be a noble practice to take care of loved ones back home, every dollar sent out of the state shortchanges our treasury.
