1978--Became the second manager in National League history (Gabby Street is the other) to win league titles in his first two seasons.

1980--Three games behind the Astros with three to play, the Dodgers swept Houston to tie for the division lead, only to lose the one-game playoff, 7-1

1981--Defeated Yankees, 4 games to 2, to win World Series, the Dodgers first title since 1965

1983--Won the Western division, but lost to the Phillies, 3 games to 1, in N.L. Championship Series

1985--Won the Western division, lost to Cardinals, 4-2, in NLCS

1988--Defeated Mets in NLCS, 4-3 and the heavily-favored Oakland A’s in World Series, 4-1

1995--Dodgers finished season 17-8 to edge out Colorado for Division title. Swept in three games by Cincinnati in first round of playoffs
