Man Found After Apparent Suicide at Katella High
A man died from at least one gunshot wound in an apparent suicide Thursday afternoon at Katella High School, police and coroner’s officials said.
Two joggers saw the 20-year-old man, who had blood on his head, about 4:30 p.m. near the school’s athletic field, police said. One of the joggers stayed with the man while the other ran to call 911.
The man died at the scene, a coroner’s deputy said.
Anaheim police detectives believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted and are investigating the case as a suicide.
