Simi Valley’s Justin Huish has been making his mark on the Summer Games. Friday, a day after winning the individual gold in archery, he teamed with Richard Johnson of Woodstock, Conn., and Rod White of Hermitage, Pa., to win the team gold medal over South Korea.

The flamboyant Huish has been equally hot away from the archery range. He was the subject of a feature spread in People magazine and been featured in Atlanta’s largest newspaper in a William Tell pose with an apple on his head.

So what will he do for an encore?

Not what you might think.

Huish, 21, will be rushing back to his family’s home in Simi Valley so he can enroll for his final semester at Moorpark College.
