Highland Dancer, 16, Wins National Title

Melissa Webster of Oxnard won two top honors at the Scottish Highland Dancing competition in Texas.

The 16-year-old senior at La Reina High School captured the United States Champion title in her age group for the fourth consecutive year. Melissa also garnered the “Champion of Champions” award after she won a dance-off, in which U.S. champions in five age categories vie for the title.
