Citicorp Raises Money for Fox: Citicorp said it provided $1 billion in financing for News Corp.’s Twentieth Century Fox to make movies over the next three years. Citicorp Securities arranged the sale of commercial paper to raise most of the money, along with a private sale of equity in the films that Fox will make. The financing covers production costs but not marketing and distribution expenses.
