Signs of Life in Meteorite From Mars

Share

* So scientists have discovered that a piece of rock in Antarctica is really a meteorite from Mars (Aug. 7)! A MARS Microscopic ALH Organism, to be exact--or shall we say MARSMALHO for short?

This would explain the “coal” association. Probably just another friendly intergalactic MARSMALHO roast over volcanic charcoal. Finding some Hydrocarbon Oxidized Trajectory-Dispersed Organic Geoplasm (HOT DOG for short) in the same location would prove it.

* The management of NASA is excited and taking credit after spending billions of dollars for men in space with no important results, while examination of a meteorite for only a few thousand dollars contains indications of early life from Mars. Do we have the right management heading NASA, who leave the Mars meteorite on Earth unexamined for over 12 years while spending billions to send satellites to Mars?

* Much has been written, televised and said about “the rock from Mars.” The question no one seems to be asking is: How do we know it came from Mars? And how do we know that it landed on Earth 13,000 years ago?

I sure would like to have those two answers before anything else.

* Welfare and immigration reform is in the nick of time! What? With life on Mars, there will surely be a flood of illegal Martians wanting SSI, taking our jobs and invading our schools. Martian as a second language? Help!

* Major presidential election significance in the life-on-Mars “finding”:

% Bill Clinton’s valued and responsible support of the U.S. space program was cleverly highlighted.

% The 4.5-billion-years dating of the evidence has about obliterated the age issue against Bob Dole.
