Saba Petroleum Co.: The Irvine oil and gas production company reported that net income for the second quarter rose to $734,000, or 16 cents a share, from $98,000, or 2 cents a share, for the 1995 second quarter. Revenue more than doubled to $8 million from $3.9 million. Net income for the first six months increased to $1.5 million, or 33 cents a share, from $110,000, or 3 cents a share, for last year’s first half. Revenue doubled to $15.4 million from $7.2 million.
