Ventura Company Provides Electronic Appraisals

Gold Coast Appraisers Inc. in Ventura is providing electronic appraisals for lenders and mortgage companies in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties, a move that cuts traditional delivery time by about 80%.

The company, founded in January by Gary Kleinsmith and James McEwan, specializes in residential appraisals.

“This technology allows our clients to receive a full report, including photographs, within 24 hours of the appraiser gaining access to the property, versus the industry average of five days,” Kleinsmith said.

Gold Coast Appraisers provides lenders with the software and equipment necessary to use the electronic delivery system, Kleinsmith said.
