* Re “Ex-Skinhead’s Unlikely Alliance,” Aug. 12: I salute this courageous young man who through the love of his children and family decided to choose love instead of hate (fear) in his life.
It may seem that he made a terrible mistake the last 13 years of his life and to admit that you were wrong does indeed take a lot of courage. But I say he is fortunate in that he has the opportunity, through the contrast of living a life of hate, to now truly see how the power of love and faith can heal and transform his life. He is lucky that he lived such a life of extremes, for most of us who vacillate in the gray may never realize the power within us.
