Pinkerton’s Buys Houston Operations of Chicago Firm

Pinkerton’s Inc., an Encino contract investigation and security company, said it has acquired the Houston operations of A & R Security Services Inc., a Chicago-based regional provider of commercial security.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

A & R has security-guard contracts with many retail companies in the Midwest, the company said.
