Police Pick Area to Target Speeders
Police officers this week plan to zero in on drivers speeding by the corner of Conejo School Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Sgt. Ken Bailey said his traffic enforcement team is targeting that intersection because of a high number of complaints registered by local residents and the frequency of accidents there in recent years.
“That’s an intersection that was identified some time ago as a high accident rate intersection,” said Bailey, who each week selects a troubled intersection and orders extra patrols there.
The weeklong enforcement concludes Friday.
