Molly O’Daniel Danielson; Philanthropist

Molly O’Daniel Danielson, 74, Santa Barbara philanthropist and community leader. The daughter of former Texas Gov. W. Lee “Pappy” O’Daniel, she was the widow of Richard E. Danielson Jr. of International Harvester. In addition to Santa Barbara, Danielson had homes in Los Angeles and Miami. In California, she served on the board of United Way of Santa Barbara, Fairchild Tropical Garden and the American Red Cross. She was also on the board of Miami’s Vizcaya Museum.
