Flight Attendants Raise ValuJet Complaint: The Assn. of Flight Attendants has sent a letter to the Transportation Department, questioning its finding that Atlanta-based ValuJet is fit to resume operations. The FAA returned the carrier’s license, which was surrendered in June after a ValuJet flight crash in Florida and killed all 110 aboard. Union officials also said they would file a formal objection with the department today. ValuJet would have four days to respond, meaning a final ruling on returning the carrier to service could come after Monday. “The procedure has been done by the book,” the Transportation Department said in response to the union’s letter.
