Urohealth Enters Joint-Venture Agreement

Urohealth Systems Inc. said Wednesday it has reached a joint-venture agreement to develop and market Harvard Scientific Corp.’s therapeutic system to treat male dysfunction and impotency. Terms were not disclosed.

Urohealth said that under the agreement, the joint venture this month will begin the first phase of clinical trials, which have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Urohealth said the companies expect to market the product in the U.S. within two years.

Urohealth designs, manufactures and markets disposable and reusable medical products.
