Welcome Back, Brett, You Have Lot to Learn

I see that Brett Butler [Aug. 31] wants to “stay in baseball to give the game its proper respect,” and that “there should be class and integrity in being a major leaguer.”

I certainly wish Brett well with his health struggles and stirring comeback effort, but puh-leez, isn’t this the same guy who wouldn’t speak to, or even sit next to, Mike Busch, when Busch was called up last season?

Before Brett tries running for office with this campaign rhetoric, he should first recall his own missed opportunity to demonstrate class and integrity to Mike Busch.
