New Order for Xylan Is $500,000 Boost for Firm Xylan Corp., a Calabasas maker of high-speed computer networking switches, has received an order for 21 switches from a Kansas health-care company.
The value of the deal with Via Christi Health Care System of Wichita is worth $500,000. Via Christi has 8,000 employees and expects to grow considerably, Xylan said.
The Xylan agreement helps fulfill the health-care provider’s “complex networking needs,” a Via Christi executive said.
