Reddi Brake Reports 6th Month of Increased Sales

Reddi Brake Supply Corp. in Ventura reported that same-warehouse sales for last month increased 12.71% over August 1995.

This is the sixth consecutive month in which sales at warehouses that have been open for at least a year increased significantly in 1996 compared with the same period a year earlier.

The sales figure for last month was $5.4 million, compared with $4.8 million in August 1995.

The company also reported that all Reddi Brake warehouses--including those that have been open less than a year--recorded August 1996 sales of $5.86 million, a 7.37% increase over the August 1995 sales of $5.46 million.

The inception of new marketing and sales promotion programs are largely responsible for the year-to-year sales increases in the past six months, officials said.

Reddi Brake operates 85 warehouse stores in 26 states, providing brake systems, chassis components and other auto undercarriage parts to professional installers.
