Economic Forum Continues Today

A series of public forums on how economic trends affect individuals will continue tonight with a discussion at the Glendale Public Library. Sessions are also set for this week in Oxnard and the City of Commerce.

“Pocketbook Pressures: Who Benefits from Economic Growth?” will be discussed at the library from 7 to 9 p.m. with the help of a trained facilitator. The library is at 222 E. Harvard St. A forum on the same topic is scheduled for Thursday at the City of Commerce’s Atlantic Boulevard branch, 2269 S. Atlantic Blvd., from 7 to 9 p.m.

And Saturday, a discussion is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Oxnard Library, 251 S. A St.

The forums, part of the Common Ground series, are sponsored by the Metropolitan Cooperative Library System, Los Angeles County Public Library and the Los Angeles Times.
