Louise Fitch, 81, an actress who moved from radio to television to cult films. She began her career on radio in Chicago in the 1930s. Moving to New York, she appeared on early television productions, including “Playhouse 90” and “Climax Theatre.” In 1950, she moved to Los Angeles to star in such horror films as “I Was a Teenage Werewolf” and “Blood of Dracula,” as well as mainstream features such as “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?” and “I Want to Live.” She was blacklisted as a supposed Communist in 1953 and found little work for a decade. Soap opera was her reentry vehicle in the early 1960s, when she joined the casts of “Paradise Bay” and “General Hospital.” She eventually won guest roles on the popular series “Magnum P.I.,” “Quincy” and “Murder, She Wrote.” On Sept. 11 in Los Angeles.
