ADM Acknowledges Possible Indictments: The Decatur, Ill.-based firm acknowledged that the Justice Department is considering indictments against it and two executives in a federal price-fixing probe. “The company and two of its executive officers, Michael Andreas and Terrance Wilson, have been informed that they are targets of the lysine investigation and indictments are being considered against them,” Archer-Daniels-Midland said in filing a proxy statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission. As previously reported, the Justice Department is said to be pressing ADM to enter pleas to charges of fixing prices for lysine, citric acid and high-fructose corn syrup. Charges had been expected to be filed earlier this week but may be delayed until at least next week.
