Focusing on Girls in Gangs

“Girls in Gangs, Coming From What, Going to Where and Why” will be the focus of a program Oct. 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Stuart M. Ketchum YCMA, 401 S. Hope St., downtown Los Angeles.

The program is being sponsored by the Los Angeles Associates of the Institute for Research of Women and Gender at Stanford University. A $10 donation is requested, which will cover a buffet dinner at 5:30 p.m. Call (818) 799-8950 no later than Thursday to make a reservation.
