AIDS a Myth, Radio Hosts Tell Haitians

South Florida health officials voiced concern that a group of radio talk show hosts was telling the local Haitian community that AIDS was a myth and that sufferers should stop taking medication. Public health officials feared that the talk show hosts were winning converts in a community where suspicion of authority is common. Henri-Claude Saint-Fleur, one of the talk show hosts, said he told listeners that scientists used fake data to prove the existence of AIDS.
