Award-Winning Photos in ‘Eyewitness’ Show

“Eyewitness 1996,” a collection of the best press photographs of 1995, will be on display today through Nov. 17 at the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Museum of Tolerance, 9786 W. Pico Blvd.

The more than 175 award-winning photographs from newspapers, magazines and press agencies around the world were chosen from almost 30,000 entries by the World Press Photo Foundation.

The museum is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed Saturdays.
