Sheriff’s deputies raided the home of a suspected methamphetamine dealer Thursday in Ojai and arrested four people on a variety of drug charges, authorities said.

Sheriff’s narcotics detectives got a tip that Doris Debra Bullock, 48, was selling the drug from her house in the 16000 block of Maricopa Highway, according to Sgt. Arnie Aviles. Detectives conducted a monthlong investigation and at 6:30 p.m. Thursday officers went to the house, where they served Bullock with an arrest warrant for drug sales, Aviles said.

When authorities arrived they found three other people at the house. All three visitors appeared to be under the influence of drugs and were arrested, according to Aviles.

The three were identified as 37-year-old Boyd Tarwater and 48-year-old Gerhard Woggon, both of Ojai, and 41-year-old Kelly Edwards of Meiners Oaks.

Deputies say they found about one-quarter ounce of methamphetamine, scales and paraphernalia used in drug sales. The amount of the drug confiscated had an estimated street value of $500, Aviles said.

Bullock was booked into County Jail in Ventura on one count of possessing for sale and one count of selling methamphetamine. Bail was set at $20,000.

Woggon, Edwards and Tarwater were booked into County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail each for allegedly being under the influence of drugs. Tarwater had an additional count of possessing paraphernalia.
