Clintons Planning Quiet Anniversary
Associated Press
WASHINGTON —
The President and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton planned a low-key celebration Friday to mark their 21st wedding anniversary.
In the afternoon, the president played 13 holes of golf.
The White House was not saying what gift Clinton purchased for his wife while campaigning Thursday at a Dayton, Ohio, store.
Later, the Clintons visited the AIDS quilt on the Mall.
They also stopped at Clinton-Gore campaign headquarters before heading to the White House for a private party.
