Coke’s Fruit Juice Unit Changes Name: The Atlanta-based company’s fruit juice division is changing its name to Minute Maid Co. to reflect the company’s flagship orange juice brand. Formerly called Coca-Cola Foods, the business has not sold food since the 1960s, when it marketed pasta and coffee. Today, the Houston-based division sells juice brands such as Minute Maid, Hi-C, Bright & Early and Cappy. The juice division represented 10% of Coke’s 1995 sales of $18.02 billion.
