Bicycle Safety Rodeo to Be Held at School
- Share via
Come Saturday morning, the parking lot at Moorpark’s Campus Canyon School will become a training ground for young cyclists.
The Bicycle Safety Rodeo, sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department deputies who patrol Moorpark, will teach children how to ride city streets safely. Deputies will inspect bikes and, on request, engrave parents’ driver’s license numbers on the bikes. The number helps police to return a stolen bike to its rightful owner.
The rodeo is designed for children younger than 15 years old, but all are welcome. Training begins at 10 a.m. and will last until 3 p.m.
