24 Stuart Anderson’s Restaurants Acquired: The Black Angus and Cattle Co. restaurants have been purchased by ARG Properties of Los Angeles from subsidiaries of Newport Beach-based American Restaurant Group for $48 million, Griffin Capital announced. Los Angeles-based Griffin structured, arranged and negotiated the financing relating to the sale-leaseback transaction, according to Managing Director Kevin A. Shields. Shields said that as part of the acquisition, ARGP, a California limited-liability company, leased the restaurants back to ARG Enterprises Inc., the Stuart Anderson’s operating subsidiary of ARG, pursuant to a 25-year triple-net lease.
