TODAY: World of Magic

Produced by Milt Larsen and Terry Hill, “It’s Magic,” at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, includes seven international magic acts over two hours.

The show’s main attraction is Princess Tenko, a popular magician and motion picture actress in Japan. Her act includes major illusions and escapes.

The show also features Ed Alonzo, a television actor who performs comedy magic that includes animals; Mr. Electric, a man who pulls a string of lightbulbs out of his mouth; and Julianna Chen, a Chinese woman who uses silks and umbrellas in what Hill calls a “classy act.”
