Clarification
In a letter regarding my Sept. 23 Op-Ed platform, the writer cynically stated that the reason I had written about parental rights was to preserve abortion funding for our clinic (Oct. 2). This couldn’t be further from the truth. My motives have nothing to do with that, as the clinic does not get money for abortions, does not perform abortions and does not recommend to anyone that she have an abortion.
