Inspector Gadget’s Field Trip (History Channel, Sunday at 8 p.m., regularly Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.). takes kids to exotic corners of the world, sharing with them such adventures as the running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, and bullfighting in Madrid, and interesting sites such as Buckingham Palace and the Grand Canyon. The part-animated, part live-action series is hosted by the inquisitive and goofy Inspector Gadget (actor Don Adams). For ages 8 to 15.

The Free Willy Story: Keiko’s Journey Home (Discovery Channel, Monday at 8 p.m.). chronicles the real-life journey of Keiko, the cross-continent whale that inspired the films “Free Willy” and “Free Willy 2.” The tale, narrated by actress Rene Russo, follows the whale’s capture and journey from Iceland to its captivity in Canada and Mexico and the move to Oregon to nurse chronic health problems. In a one-hour Goosebumps special, “Haunted Mask II” (Fox, Tuesday at 8 p.m.), 13-year-old Steve Boswell (John White) discovers the perfect spooky mask: an evil old man with long, stringy yellow hair and spiders in his ears. Trouble starts when Steve begins to feel old, tired and sort of evil himself. For ages 7 to 13.
