7 Nominated for Chamber of Commerce Board

Seven people have been nominated to the Ventura Chamber of Commerce board of directors for a three-year term beginning Jan. 1.

There will be seven vacancies on the board. An official ballot will be mailed to members.

Nominated for a first term on the board are Pat Chandler, assistant superintendent of education for the Ventura Unified School District; Ken Kraft, financial director of the Ventura County Star; Sabra Stevens, vice president and consumer manager with the Bank of America, and Edward Wohlenberg, general manager of the Ventura Port District.

Past appointees to the board who are running for election are Bartley Bleuel, attorney with Bleuel & Muirhead Law Offices; Diana Hofmann, account representative for D.J. Amick & Co., and Paul Newman, insurance broker with Life Time Benefits Inc.
