National Education Corp.: The Irvine provider of interactive multimedia products and services for the education and training marketplace posted net income of $9.3 million, or 25 cents a share, for the third quarter, a 60% increase from the $5.8 million, or 18 cents a share, for the same quarter of 1995. Revenue was up 14%, to $82.3 million, from $72 million. Net income for the nine months totaled $12.1 million, or 33 cents a share. For the same period last year, the company posted a net loss of $84.4 million, or $2.77 a share, which included restructuring charges. Revenue advanced 9%, to $208.3 million, from $190.3 million.
