Core Inc.: The Irvine provider of health care and disability management services recorded a third-quarter net loss of $1.3 million, or 21 cents a share, which included a one-time charge of $2 million related to the termination of its plans to acquire AmHealth Inc. For the year-earlier period, Core posted net income of $396,667, or 8 cents a share. Revenue increased 47% to $7.5 million from $5.1 million. A net loss of $220,346, or 4 cents a share, was posted for the nine-month period, compared with a net loss of $500,449, or 9 cents a share, for the 1995 period. Revenue was up 40% to $20.6 million from $14.7 million.
