A Mexican national with at least 19 aliases was one of two men arrested Friday morning in a narcotics bust at a house in the Colonia area of Oxnard.

At 8 a.m., detectives from the Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura police departments served a search warrant in the 1800 block of Gaucho Way, and arrested 24-year-old Albert Torres on two counts of violating probation, according to Oxnard Police Det. Scott Whitney.

Also arrested was 48-year-old Cornelio Mejia Hernandez of Mexico. Whitney said Hernandez was in possession of two pieces of rock cocaine, narcotics paraphernalia and a loaded handgun. During the search, detectives also confiscated a narcotics scale and materials used to package narcotics, Whitney said.
