Clipper update--Guards Malik Sealy and Pooh Richardson missed nine of 10 shots apiece in Sunday’s 81-70 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Off to their best start since 1993, the Clippers have won two of their last three games. Center Kevin Duckworth, who had 15 points in the Clippers’ first two games, failed to score in 11 minutes against Minnesota.

Grizzlies’ update--The Grizzlies, who lost 19 consecutive games last season after winning their first two, have opened the season with six consecutive losses, including a 101-82 defeat by the New York Knicks on Sunday. The Grizzlies dropped three of four games to the Clippers last season, winning the season-finale, 108-101.
