Grand Jury Indicts Espy Appointee

The head of the federal farm agency in charge of crop programs in Mississippi was indicted on charges he lied to a grand jury investigating former Agriculture Secretary Mike Espy. Norris Faust Jr., Mississippi state executive director of the Farm Service Agency, was accused of lying about his role in changing a state regulation to help a farmer collect excess subsidies. The three-count indictment was returned by a grand jury in Biloxi.
