Shuttle Telescope Fixed, Yields Results

An ultraviolet telescope orbiting behind space shuttle Columbia observed stars hotter and more massive than the sun after scientists fixed alignment problems. Earlier, scientists were frustrated over misalignments that had the telescope looking into the wrong part of the sky for stars emitting bright ultraviolet rays. The trouble cropped up shortly after the telescope was released.
