Christmas Eve is a month away--which means that the time for holiday music has arrived again. The celebrations vary from the modest offerings of amateur and church organizations to large-scale professional chorales and pageants heralding Hanukkah, Christmas and even the solstice, all set to the tunes of Irving Berlin, Handel, Marc-Antoine Charpentier and many, many more.
