Train Service Back After Derailment

Amtrak restored full train service after the link between Newark and New York City’s Penn Station was repaired following a passenger train’s derailment in Secaucus, officials said. Six cars of a 14-car train traveling from Washington to Boston plunged into a marsh near the Hackensack River drawbridge. The accident caused no serious injuries. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
