Digital Insight, a provider of Web-based home banking, has teamed with Microsoft Corp. to allow Digital’s Internet banking clients to download account information to Microsoft’s Money 97.

All 28 of the financial institutions that use Digital to conduct on-line banking have agreed to add Money 97 to their list of financial services offerings.

“Being able to download personal or business account information from a financial institution’s Web site directly into Money 97 continues our mission to provide the market with easy-to-use tools for managing money,” said Paul Fiore, president and CEO of Camarillo-based Digital Insight.

APL Federal Credit Union in Laurel, Md., will be one of the first Digital clients to offer Money 97 to its customers. Credit union officials said 15% of their customers do their banking on-line, and many have asked for the ability to transfer financial data to Microsoft’s Money 97.
