From Times Wire Reports

Gen. Ratko Mladic, who led the Bosnian Serb army, has agreed to resign, the independent Yugoslav VIP news agency reported, ending a power struggle with his political masters. The agency said Mladic wrote to the civilian leadership in Pale, the self-proclaimed Bosnian Serb capital, to confirm that he had handed authority to his deputy, Gen. Manojlo Milovanovic. VIP said Milovanovic will attend a ceremony today in Pale and transfer his hours-old command to Gen. Pero Colic, who had earlier been named to replace Mladic by Bosnian Serb President Biljana Plavsic.
