The Irvine Valley College Emeritus Program will offer a new course next year for seniors who want to learn about technology but have no computer background.
“Computer Fundamentals and Applications” will be taught from 2 to 5 p.m. on Mondays and noon to 3 p.m. on Fridays beginning Jan. 13.
Teacher Cathleen Camp said she hopes to help seniors overcome their fears about computers by giving them one-on-one instruction.
Owning a computer is not required. Seniors may use those in the college’s computer lab for assignments. The cost for the course is $13.
