Re “Crusader Forces Overhaul of Child Abuse Index,” Nov. 28: The assault on civil liberties as a result of the machinations and blacklist of the proponents of the Child Abuse Index would make Sen. Joe McCarthy, the irrational persecutor of imaginary Communists during the ‘50s, envious.
