Kandy Kaneland Fair Set for This Weekend

The city is braced for at least nine tons of snow this weekend.
The mound of the white powder will be delivered Saturday for the city’s 16th annual Kandy Kaneland and Krafts Faire at the Buena Park Recreation Center. Playing in the snow will be one of several activities for children and their parents.
Santa Claus will have personal audiences with youngsters, while parents will have an array of gift-buying opportunities from 100 vendors selling their crafts, jewelry and ornaments.
Events will include a petting zoo, carnival game booths and tables of food.
The free public event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Recreation Department, 8150 Knott Ave., between La Palma and Crescent avenues.
