Riley Doesn’t Have Job--Yet

The official announcement on the hiring of Mike Riley as Oregon State coach has been put off until later this week, an athletic department spokesman for the Beavers said.

Riley, the offensive coordinator at USC the past four years, was to attend the USC banquet tonight, meaning the news conference to introduce him as the new Oregon State coach probably won’t come until Friday.
