3 Die in Copter Crash
A medical helicopter crashed in northern New York after picking up an injured hunter, killing all three people on board.
The helicopter crashed Thursday night near Jerusalem, about 60 miles southeast of Rochester, N.Y., soon after picking up the hunter, who had apparently suffered severe internal injuries in a fall from a tree. The pilot and a medical technician were the other victims.
The aircraft from Canandaigua, N.Y., was headed to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. The cause of the crash was being investigated.
