Procom Stock Up 12%

Procom Technology Inc.’s stock posted a 12% gain Wednesday in its first day of trading on the Nasdaq market. After being priced at $9, the stock closed at $10.125, up $1.125.

The Irvine company, which designs and manufactures data storage devices, had anticipated a price range of $9 to $11 per share for the offering of 3.03 million shares of common stock.

Proceeds from the offering are expected to be used to repay debt, to acquire capital equipment and for general purposes.
