Citadel Boosts Patrols After Hazing Claims

The Citadel will bring back its tradition of posting adult supervisors overnight in all barracks starting next month after two female cadets reported being hazed by male cadets. Lawyers for the two female cadets, Kim Messer and Jeanie Mentavlos, say they endured weeks of hazing, including being doused with nail polisher and their clothes set afire, because they feared that telling adults on staff might only make it worse.
